Course Description
Carved into the coastal landscape of St. Simons Island, the King and Prince Golf Course aims to challenge and inspire golfers of all levels. The course winds through ancient forests of Spanish moss-draped Live Oaks, vast salt marshes, and over scenic island greens connected by elevated cart bridges. With its meticulously maintained fairways, rolling greens, and a signature lake at the 9th hole, this course is as gorgeous as it is demanding.
Practice Facilities
Our course includes a 15,000-square-foot teeing area with seven different target greens of differing yardages. We also have a 3,500-square-foot chipping green allowing you to practice all types of shots. Our putting green simulates real course conditions, so you can fine-tune everything from straight putts to downhill breakers.
Course Details
The golf course features MiniVerde®, ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass. Green collars are 60” around each green and planted with Tifsport Bermuda. Bunkers have been recently reshaped with all sand replaced, while all fairways and rough grasses are planted with the more shade-tolerant Celebration Bermuda grass.

Within The King and Prince Golf Club, you’ll find a full Golf Shop with all the essentials you seek for your next round of 18. Along with clubs and equipment available for rental, you can browse a wide selection of golf apparel, accessories, and useful souvenirs like cups and mugs.
